Team Crimea is a World Wide Youth Camps short-term, cross-cultural collaborative mission team made up of Americans and Ukrainians. World Wide Youth Camps is a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian organizatiion whose mission is to plant the seeds of Christ in the hearts of children of every tongue, tribe, and nation.
The team’s specific mission is to the children of Southern Ukraine and Crimea. We left for Crimea in early June, 2008 to travel over 5,000 miles in order to unconditionally love the children of this part of the world.
The goal of WWYC teams is to:
- Prepare the hearts of all nations to receive the love of God.
- Introduce Jesus and show God’s love by engaging people.
- Nurture spiritual maturity through mentoring relationships.
- Partner with local people and groups to provide strong mentors for children.

in Crimea when you need Him all at the same time because he does not live a time zone. He’s everywhere at all times! Is that cool or what!
This same God has called YOU to do His work in Crimea. To simply love on His children the way He would love on them in human form. YOU are His feet that go. His arms that hug. His lips that encourage. His voice and mouth that translate so all can understand each other. You/ we are one body with many parts – WOW!
Pauls says in 2 Tim 1:7, For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
